Do you need advice about a parenting schedule that is best for your children?  

I began my legal career with a MA in Developmental Psychology and work experience with foster care children in New York City.  My reason to attend law school was to be a child advocate, and I wear that hat still.  In my work as a divorce lawyer, mediator, and family psychotherapist, I help parents make sure that the kids are okay.  A parenting plan that allows for the child's needs to be met in a way that also provides the parents with the time they each want, requires some creativity and flexibility. Two things that the Courts do not have.  I can help you understand the developmental needs of children, and how he parenting schedule can be supportive and fair.

PARENT COACHING

Co-parenting is a skill that develops when we want to have a cordial and healthy family

after divorce.    In my experience, it is necessary, even though it can be difficult, to separate the disappointment, anger, sadness, and other hurt feelings at the end of marriage from the parenting relationship.   I can help you individually, or together, to develop co-parenting skills.  It is possible to comfortably attend the same school functions, sports events, theatre productions, and celebrations for your children.  Children will tell me how happy it makes them when their parents can sit next to each other on the bleachers or come together to the science fair.  I can help you get there.
